Janell is a photographer based in  British Columbia, Canada. Her focus is on nature, landscape and urban themes. Originally from Ontario and having travelled and lived in different parts of Canada and elsewhere, Janell is inspired by the beauty of the diverse nature, landscapes and cities throughout Canada and the world. She frames and captures a moment to create a narrative around an image. Janell continues to develop and grow her art, by exploring different themes, perspectives and styles of photography.

Janell has participated as a vendor in farmer's markets in the Kootenays, and exhibited at local libraries and cafés.  Most recently, she is exhibiting at Gino's Café in Osoyoos, BC.
