Janell is a photographer based in British Columbia, Canada. Her focus is on nature, landscape and urban themes, and she is primarily self-taught as an artist. Originally from Ontario and having travelled and lived in different parts of Canada and elsewhere, Janell is inspired by the beauty of the diverse nature, landscapes and cities throughout Canada and the world. She frames and captures a moment to create a narrative around an image. Janell continues to develop and grow her art, by exploring different themes, perspectives, and styles of photography.

Janell has participated as a vendor in farmer's markets, and exhibited at local libraries and cafés throughout BC. She is also a featured artist at the Penticton Art Gallery Gift Shop in the Okanagan Valley.
